One night stay at Arun

Arun is walking distance, about 450m from bus station for Capitol line. It seems brand new and is one of the cheapest rooms (double bed with fan) in Kampot and the rooms are big, clean and comfortable. The price is low due to fact Arun is on edge of Kampot, about 15 mins walk to the center and riverside. Highly recommend it as a starting point, especially if you are a budget traveller.

Pretty good, clean, cheap, a bit stinky

This place is pretty nice with a lot of intricately carved woodwork. Kept pretty clean, rooms well furnished and very cheap. The only real downside was the place smelled like a combination of fish sauce and mildew. If you don't mind the smell it's great. Also the manager lady rented me a motorbike with bad brakes and no air in the tires, but I guess that's my fault for not checking it out.
